£32,000 - £35,000 Per Annum

Our client have an exciting opportunity for a Site Supervisor to join their team at one of their customer's sites on a full time, permanent basis.

The hours of work will be 39 per week (Monday to Friday, days). 

Site Supervisor main responsibilities will include:

  • Responsible for all maintenance, frequent inspections, oil sampling / oil changes, rope changes, breakdowns during onsite hours.
  • Responsible for the input / upkeep of asset data
  • Liaising with client on correct scheduling of tasks
  • Submission of quotations for supply of spare parts.
  • Raising of Service requests for spare parts and additional labour when requested by client
  • Raising of purchase orders to suppliers for supply of spare parts      
  • Being the site supervisor /focal point when our client's personnel are on site assisting during busy periods 

What our client can offer you:

  • Fixed hours (majority of the time – dependant on site breakdowns)
  • Not included on the on-call rota due to the requirement of being available during the day
  • Option to work overtime at weekend for customer.

What our client are looking for in you:

  • You must be apprentice-trained or equivalent and fully conversant with electrical engineering disciplines
  • Engineering experience: Electrical: 415v ac 3 phase motor contactor control circuits both squirrel cage and wound rotor. A good understanding of 110/48 volt relay and contactor circuits.  Some frequency speed control device experience.  Mechanical: Medium to large drive couplings, brakes and reduction gearboxes.
  • Knowledge of the above tasks and the associated risks when working at height.
  • Experience with overhead cranes and hoists is preferred, full product training will be given
  • Good grasp of the English language (verbal and written)
  • Strong interpersonal skills as there is extensive customer contact
  • Proven commitment to safety
  • You must be physically fit and able to work at heights
  • Willingness to work extra hours
  • Hold a current driving licence
  • Own transport
