Providing consultation service for “Recently Unemployed Professionals and Executives”, Jackie Kerr Recruitment is a South of England Provider of Seminars, 1-2-1 Outplacement, Career Transition and Job Search Support. Our focus is on delivering a highly bespoke and effective service, pulling on 14 years of running a successful Recruitment Agency in a highly professional and motivational manner.
Jackie Kerr Recruitment Ltd, based in Highworth, has been appointed by Jobcentre Plus and has formed a major part of the Department of Work & Pensions' response to the current economic downturn. We currently provide Jobcentre Plus Centres' throughout the South of England with Job Search Support for Newly Unemployed Professionals & Executives. In the last two years of the provision we have successfully assisted over 690 participants, leading to Jackie Kerr Recruitment becoming one of only a handful of DWP accredited providers of this service.
Local Job Centres have been referring jobseekers to Jackie Kerr Recruitment for the past two years and via a combination of group and one-to-one sessions. Jobseekers have been assisted in areas including CV writing and targeting, interview techniques and job searching – culminating in an individual action plan and a one to one meeting with a experienced HR Consultant. The areas covered are the South West including Swindon, Chippenham, Trowbridge, Devizes, Witney, Salisbury, Cheltenham, Oxford and Abingdon.
Jackie and her team of HR professionals deliver the career counselling and guidance sessions and have received extremely positive feedback.

Networking
According to statistics 80% of people find a job through networking, to this end we also hold six monthly Networking Events for those that have attended the seminar
All clients that have attended our seminar along with local businesses attend our Networking Events to celebrate the success of Professionals who have found employment and to help assist Job Seekers further.
This will include an inspirational talk from a motivational speaker and a Client will discuss his tremendous success story with all the attendees.
Profile of Seminar Providers
Jackie Kerr (Director) has been working within the recruitment industry for the past 20 years, initially working as a Personnel Manager for a Reading based company employing 500 staff. She then undertook a role as a Recruitment Consultant for a Swindon based agency for 5 years dealing with the commercial sector. She started her own independent agency in 1997 and with determination and hard work has built up a large client base in the commercial and industrial sectors. Jackie's experience within the client service industry allied to her personnel experience gives her the ability to provide an elite and professional recruitment service.
Kathryn Middleton has been working in Recruitment and Recruitment Sales for the majority of her career. Her last position before joining the Jackie Kerr Team was as a Senior Recruitment Consultant for a multinational recruitment provider. She brings a wealth of up to date knowledge in the Recruitment Industry culminating in how best to sell yourself in this competitive market.
Gaye Brown is CIPD Qualified and has made her career in Recruitment having worked for some of the leading Brands within the Recruitment Industry. Gaye has also spent 4 years in training and development. Her 15 years experience in Recruitment Training and Development enables her to bring a wealth of knowledge and advice to Job Seekers.
Christine Dunford is also CIPD Qualified and has worked for over 20 years in Recruitment, Career Coaching, Learning Development and HR consultancy field servicing many blue chip companies. She has also worked as a Branch Manager for a leading Recruitment and Training provider. Her wealth of knowledge in the broad sector of Recruitment and Training gives her the ability to deal with all aspects of career advice and development to the Professional and Executives.
