Brief Job Description Our client is looking for a confident and competent sales administrator. You will be dealing with inbound calls from customers and assisting with order and delivery queries. Previous administration experience is necessary as is the ability to deal with customers at all levels. Overview To maximise sales by processing customer orders and queries accurately and efficiently. To manage customer relationships and complaints using a high standard of customer service skills to gain complete customer satisfaction. This will require high standards of verbal and written communication. Maintain in house data bases. Feedback in a constructive manner operational issues and suggestions for improvement. Skills Required · Communication, written, verbal and listening · Organization · Customer Service · Impact and Influence · Assertiveness Job Tasks · Inputting stationery orders onto Database via the internet and over the phone · Creating customers on the database and ensuring all relevant information is requested · Raising returns on customer request and passing information onto the returns team to follow up · Chasing deliveries and following up proactively with customers when deliveries have been delayed or failed · Updating the system with all information regarding activity on all accounts · Processing credit card money for each order received · Completing and collating the relevant order forms for filing · Checking the approved Supplier list for alternative suppliers where the product required may be cheaper or out of stock with Spicers · If large quantities are ordered checking that a better price is available. · Ensuring all orders are handled within that working day to ensure a next day delivery · Product queries · Handling difficult customers and ensuring the customers issues are dealt with appropriately and within an acceptable time scale · Liaising with manufacturer’s with various queries concerning products and deliveries · Providing adhoc quotations when required and following up with the customer. |
